Dark Light: The Art of Blind Photographers

Last night HBO premiered the documentary film, Dark Light: The Art of Blind Photographers. Directed by legendary Sports Illustrated and Time photographer Neil Leifer, the film seeks to "explore the creativity of innovative artists who transcend their physical limitations," and spotlights three photographers---Pete Eckert, Henry Butler and Bruce Hall---who have taken up the art of photography for a variety of personal and creative reasons, despite their unique circumstances. The film also features interviews with well-known professional photographers, including: Harry Benson and David Burnett.
